Star Atlas
Every charted landmark on the Krillion Space voyage is a real place. Here they are in route order, nearest first: what each one is, how far away and how big it is, where to find it in the sky and what spacecraft and telescopes have found there. Every fact links to the NASA, ESA or ESO page it comes from.
Inner Sol
Home port and the rocky inner Solar System, out to the giant Jupiter.
Outer Sol
The moons of the giant planets, the ice giants, the Kuiper Belt and the edge of the Sun's reach.
Nearby stars
The Sun's closest neighbours, each within about 41 light-years.
Milky Way
Star clusters, giant stars, nebulae and a black hole across our galaxy.
Galactic core and beyond
The black hole at the heart of the Milky Way, then other galaxies.
About the atlas
- Depth is the landmark's stop on the voyage, as the game's Depth readout counts it from Earth. Between the landmarks beyond the Solar System lie uncharted worlds, and the gateways of the Orion signal.
- The pictures are the game's own view of each landmark from your ship. Planets and moons with a real spacecraft map wear it, and the deep-sky photos come from Hubble, Spitzer and GALEX (see image credits); the rest are painted by the game.
